Welcome to my portfolio! I am currently a second-year master’s student at Pennsylvania State University, studying mechanical engineering with a focus on design.

Growing up in Costa Rica, Panama, and Colombia has given me more than just a love for good coffee and tropical beaches; it’s equipped me with a multicultural toolkit for tackling problems from all sorts of angles. My lifelong love for building things (and occasionally breaking them in the name of progress) has driven me to pursue mechanical engineering. Through internships, academic projects, and a lot of trial and error, I’ve found that I want to use my skills to make a real difference in people's lives.

My time with the Garmin, GE Appliances, and Carnegie Robotics has shown me the impact engineers can have when we bring a little creativity and a lot of persistence to the table. Along the way, I’ve picked up some pretty handy skills: adaptability, motivation, dedication, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks—sometimes literally. I’m still waiting for that to make it onto a resume under "special skills," but we’ll get there.
